Find it strange to want to talk to people similar to yourself. Feels like a waste of time talking with someone who shares your interests. Perhaps good for practical activities. Boring for simply communicating. Neurotypical conversation is difficult. I don't quite understand what conversations are for apart from exchanging information. But i understand normal people draw pleasure from it. If one wants to be viewed as normal, one must communicate normally. This creates a lot of pressure. I think normal people don't have this pressure. They let conversation flow and know what should be said next or not. I always feel extremely awkward in conversation, except if im dominating it. When I am communicating in the ways i enjoy, exchange of ideas/information STRICTLY to gain knowledge/ form worldview/ convince someone of something, I stop noticing how the person is receiving me. If they are bored or put off. I could ramble on for ever if its a topic i am interested in. I find it hard to understand why the wouldn't also enjoy this kind of conversation. It is far less energy consuming than small talk.
